Cinnamon window buttons customization

Cinnamon is very good desktop environment and allows a very in depth customization of your workspace.

I'm used to have a look & feel like MacOS and I like to have to common window buttons like minimize, maximize and close on the left side of the title-bar. I also like to have the shade button on the right side.

To change the title bar buttons configuration you can use the dconf utility, you can install by issuing the following command from shell:

1sudo apt install dconf-editor

Or by using the graphical package manager of your distro.

Open the dconf-editor and inavigate to: /org/cinnamon/desktop/wm/preferences/button-layout

Set the image below for more details:

My configuration is:

close, minimize, maximize:shade

By default button position is left. All the button definition place after : will be placed on the right. You can configure button as you want.
